Greetings from the State Representative

Welcome to the Organization of Triangles, Inc. website!  My name is Megan Cummings and I am the 2009-2010 State Representative for this Organization.  This year I have the honor and privilege of traveling across New York State to both Masonic youth and adult functions.  I will have the opportunity to speak about what we do in Triangle and spread my message.

I have been a member of Lockport Triangle #128 for over 9 years and just recently joined Gasport Chapter #153, Order of Eastern Star.  I am currently attending Genesee Community College as a full-time student and pursuing an Associates Degree in Alcohol and Substance Abuse Studies. I will be transferring in May 2010 to Empire State College and plan on getting my Bachelors Degree in Human Relations. When I’m not at school you can find me working in the Pre-K room at Rattles to Reading Child Care in my home town, Akron.

In order to become State Representative I have had to commit a lot of time to this Organization and it has been well worth it. One must be a Past Beloved Queen and have served at least one year as Junior Advisor to become State Representative.

My message for the year is, “Widen Our Horizon!” As we’re moving into the future, we will continue to grow in strength. All you have to do is simply remember that no matter where you go, you will always be making a difference in someone’s life.

During my term as State Representative, I will be selling key chains for $3.00 to raise funds for Hospice. I have chosen Hospice as my charity for the year in memory of my Grandpa Ray. He passed away from cancer the year that I joined Triangle. It is because of this beautiful organization, that I was able to deal with this terrible loss. Triangle is my heart and soul and I would never trade a moment of all the memories I have made.
